Is fashion necessary?

Some people go really overboard with it! They think it is all that matters. Models especially. it can make you anorexic. I have to admit though, i love shopping for clothes! it is fun! When i can't fit into something i get kinda mad...but really it is quite fun.

Something i hate about it though, is that people judge by what you wear. Some people just can't look past your clothing! It is really annoying! If you wear the wrong thing people give you weird looks and call you losers. That is why some really nice people are losers....because they wore the wrong thing! OMG! WHAT A CRME! jk. it ISN'T A BIG DEAL! i just wish people could judge people by who they are...not what is on the outside.

So, NO! Fashion isn't necassary! I don't need it! Great question!

The concept of fashion is linked back to ancient humans, only if you where a good hunter/gatherer could you have spare time to devote to fashion (beads, feathers, furs and such). So fashion was a result of success and would allow you to attract a mate, under the assumption that some one who had enough free time to make beads was a good provider and could sustain a mate and children. Today it has to do with free income, but for the same goal. Necessary? That would be a matter of opinion, after all you can survive with out it.

yes fashion is necessary, because you don't want to go to the mall when your dressed like you are a poor person. You want to go dressed like you actually own money. or just to look cute

everything id fashion. it may not be the the best. but u do have some kind if fashion.

It has been around since ancent times. I transends cultures. You are not going to be able to get rid of it. If you do not like following trends or dealing with it then wear classic clothes.

it would be really boring if everyone only wore the same type of shirt and pants

but people these days are harsh, and if you don;t look the rite way you are an outcast. so its good to a certain extent
