Well, happiness lies in your palm. You are the one who knows the real answer of yourself. You decide whether you wanna be happy or unhappy. The choice is completely yours. Basically you pull in what you've pulled out. No one really put the chain on your shoulder to be sad on valentine's day.... For every action there is a reaction.
On valentine's day you could be happy all alone by yourself. You really can't rely on someone or something to make you happy and content. And you really can't blame something or someone for all the sadness inside your soul.
Which one you prefer.....being among thousands of people on valentine's day or even your loved ones - but you feel the dreadful emptiness inside your soul OR being all alone on valentine's day but you feel the true happiness deep in your soul?
