i know it sounds weird but i was eating chinese food and started wondering about how babies in other countries and regions eat like in china or russia or tahiti etc. especially tahiti because they are so healthy and stay so young looking and china too. i mean being in america with the highest rate of obesity and whatnot maybe we should pick up some tips from others and start in ourselves and our children.

different countries eat there country ethic food. I'm not Japanese but I eat tones of Japanese food. I usually buy a bunch of food at the Asian store. I love the soups with the sea weed !
My kids get fastfood only 2 a year! I love to cook at home and they eat tones of fresh fruits and vegs, rice, pastas, breads and simple meat like roast.

Current Day Cuisine Tahit
Whilst the French and Asian techniques and influences are strong, it is good to see that traditional meals are still cooked in an earth oven. Known an Ahima'a, this is where meats and vegetables are wrapped in leaves, placed on a bed of hot stones. The parcels are covered with more leaves and earth, and left to cook for several hours.

As in the very beginning, fish, shellfish, chicken, pork, tropical fruit, breadfruit, taro, cassava, yams, and rice are staples and frequently used ingredients include lime juice, coconut milk and vanilla which is used with a passion in both savoury and sweet dishes.

Well in MExico and I think rest of South America they pretty much eat the same. The reason why Americans are so obesse, and I live in the second fattest city in the US saddly...it's because of the HUGE demand for fast food. If you think about it babies don't have access to fast food so the problem is not at tha tlevel, the fat ones appear with kids that cry for Mcdonalds and their parents don't have the guts or education about parenting to limit the things their children want.

So yes, down in mexico they eat gerber foods and cereals and all that common baby food...

Oh yeah, and for those answers of recycled Mcdonalds or dumb stuff like that, they are your obvious example of the downfall of the US and why Europeans and the rest think of Americans as ugly dirty uncultured retards. If you ask them about China they picture the great Wall, or Mexicoo they picture ppl living in Pyramids. These guys have to get out of their x-box playing room, out of the trailer or crappy porr-middle class hood and grab a book and read about the world...

The more third world the less packaged foods you'll see.
