Personally I strive for sarcasm myself. Pissy is just another side of me.

Sarcasm is just veiled agression that someone will use when they want to insult you. If they are confronted, they can just pass it off as harmless fun. It truly is "their" win-win situation to be an azz.
Example: I had a woman that used to use "sarcasm" at me. If I felt something went over the line; I would just brush it off. She would later then tell me how "I really shouldn't take this." If I did respond back, it wasn't to uncommon for her to get pissed.

It all depends on the tone and in what context things were said not to mention whether or not someone has a good sense of humor.

LOL, good question, I know what you mean. I think the world has a stick up their butt and just isn't laid back and takes everything too seriously.
