It seems like certain people I know are trying to "qualify" their life by constantly listing they demands they have on their time. Do you, or don't you, agree?

Oh yeah! I take it you met my sis-n-law. Everytime I talk to her, 'Ive got to do this, this, that, that, that and this, oh yeah, I got to do this and this tomorrow for her." So, I shrug my shoulders, roll my eyes, nod my head, and just say, "OK."
I guess she expects me to say, "Wow, you are a supermom!I wish I could be just like you!"
BARF!

True.

I know someone who constantly does this. Even when I am trying to get away or end a conversation - which gets out of hand because of the rambling - she continues to talk. I say I have to go and she still talks as though she hasn't heard.

I try not to be hateful to people so I say they are all mad. It's better than saying unkind things that are really hurtful.

I agree. By doing this it makes them feel indespensable. Like look at me I'm so imporant and good at what I do that everyone wants a piece of me.

Yes...I agree with you. Nothing turns me off more than someone listing their endless list of things they "have" to do, are going to do, or have done.
Will Rogers once said "sex is like money, those that have it, don't talk about it"...can be used in this case as well...
It's all, blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda to me!
