Rumour at its best.
Even if SAF wants to buy Ronaldinho, I don't think Barcelona will sell. Even if Barcelona sells, I don't think Ronaldinho will play for Man Utd.
He snubbed them once, he will snub them again.
There is more chance of Barcelona buying C Ronaldo, though.

They definitely have the money, but Ronaldinho has been very reluctant to leave Barcelona over the past few years. If anything, they might buy Samuel Eto, he has had a feud with his manager and Ronaldinho.

Man Utd shouldn't need to buy him...Hey look I don't like Man Utd...they bloody won everything in the 90's and I'm still really bitter about it. Where are the world class youngsters we used to see...where's the next Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Paul Scholes...blah blah blah list goes on...that's who they should be talking about at the 'Theater of Dreams' (laughs under breath at the pretentious nickname of their ground).
Alan Hansen famously said about their team 'you cant win anything with kids' and what did they do they won the lot. And if I'm ever going to say a good thing about Man Utd it's this...they built a club that won everything in the English and European game without spending anything ...look back at their squad for the 90's how many foreign players can you name? How much money did they spend?...Schmichael who cost them like £2.50...Cantona he was the best bargain ever!!! ...they won the Champions league with players like David May in the side!!!
It just seems to me that they should stick with what they know and thats no being dragged into the cheque book culture of other certain English clubs...Other club's may be able to buy the Prem title...I just think with what Man Utd have done in the past with home-grown talent it would be more than a little below them to be forced to pay over the odds for players...because we all know they've been there before with a the 'Next Big Thing' and the ' New Eric Cantona'...shall we name a few...ohhh go on...do you remember Jordi Cruyff or as it was on his shirt just 'Jordi'...Carol poborski...he's got a girls name!!! it's gonna say something about his playing style but a hit in the locker room I bet, Diego Forlan now he does score just not for your club etc...and we better not mention the whole goalkeeper thing...Massimo Taibi Ssshhhhhh...Let Chelsea pay £150m for him and then watch him get a broken leg after some hard-as-nails center half playing for Macclesfield Town kicks lumps out of him in a rainy 5th round relpy at Moss Rose...So my answer is...ummmmmmm...no. no they won't.

not a chance! tbh if barcalona where to ever sell ronaldinho for any price it would only ever be if there was a swap for C.Ronaldo which will never happen. as a watford and england fan 6 months ago i wouldnt of dreamt of saying this but Christiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world atm. he is on red hot form 15 goals to his name(prem) this season he is a fantastic player to watch and hes an all around team player. ronaldinho is been off since the world cup and will hopefully return to his greatness but noway is he leaving spain, also he said he doesnt wish to ever come to england

traded??? this aint the NBA. guy Utd might want to ought to purchase Ronaldinho for upwards of fifty million sterling ($one hundred million) and then pay his wages that could probably fee upwards of $500,000 per week. Even guy Utd because the richest club in football might want to no longer have adequate money this funding.

Who wouldnt? They could buy him in 2003 but they blew their chance. They shouldn't be thinking about him now. If Ronnie leaves Barca he would go to Milan only.
