Everytime I went to my white friend's house when we were kids they were always disrespectful to their parents and would call them names like "bitc*" and "wank3r" all the time. What brought this all back was a documentary I saw last night where these kids were cussing at their parents and slamming doors in their faces...why?

Because the parents allowed it and didn't stop it the first time their child behaved in this manner. Parents have to demand respect from their children. Many parents grew to believe that telling their child "no" would harm them in some way psychologically and wound up with disrespectful, demanding bratrs that feel the world owes them a living. Children have to learn the limits and have them enforced from an early age to grow into respectful well adjusted adults.

Honestly not all white kids act this way, and there are definitely some black kids that do the same way. It just depends on how the parents raise their kids if they are ok with the kids saying rude things at an early age the kids are going to keep doing and keep pushing it to that next level. I don't know why some parents allow this, maybe they're afraid that if they stop their kids they're going to hate them or something.

It seems to me that you're playing on the stereotype that all white kids talk back to their parents and their parents don't do anything and that black kids don't talk back to their parents because they'll get hit or slapped. Although I've seen this happen many times while shopping in stores it's not all white kids that act like that, believe me!

You can't really stereotype that all white kids are this way.I have seen lots of different races of children behaving badly. But what it all comes down to is discipline and how much discipline is given to the child.Children need to know who's the boss and the parent, I think what a lot of parents do is to try to be friends to their kids when what they really need is a Parent.

It's not just white kids. I've seen the same thing in black families too. It all has to do with the times and how they were raised. Back in my day, we whipped our kids which made them a better adult but today, parents can't do that and the kids know it.

My child certainly doesn't. We live in the South where children of all races are taught to say "Yes, sir," and "Yes, ma'am" and to be polite to their elders. Did you see the Birmingham auditions on American Idol where the kids were so polite to the judges? It's a cultural thang.
I think the kids you're referring to are definitely troubled. It's sad.

Don't place all white kids in the same box. What if someone were to ask why are all black kids in gangs?

White parents don't believe in disciplining their kids by using pain as a motivator. They try to use things like time outs etc etc.
That's why their kids grow up and shoot up high schools and malls and and blow up federal buildings and kill white women and such.
They are acting out and were never taught right from wrong.
