go to www.vso-software.fr download a trial version of convertxtodvd. this is very easy to use. all you have to do is drag and drop it in the box..... those movies have to be converted first before you can burn them on a dvd.....one thing i have to say is, this software only work on those movies that you have downloaded on the internet.

Simple.
Download & install Nero 7.
(30 day trial)
http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero_7_UE_Full_Installer.php

It will convert the video files to DVD format & burn the an a DVD disk that can be viewed by most any console DVD player.

Begin with "Smart Start"
Choose DVD
Choose "create your own DVD"
Choose "add video files" (browse to the ones you want)
Next, next, etc .... very user friendly with popup tips for each new window.

Awesome program ... the best of its kind. Well worth buying.

If your pc has an s-video port, use that as it gives a very good picture on the TV. If the tv has s-video in, then use it. If it has composite, get the cable set that converts s-video to composite (about $20).

To use the vga of your pc to the tv is poor at best. If s-video isn't an option, realy work hard to convert those videos!

Hi. Many graphics cards have dual outputs. Connect one to the TV and one to the monitor.
