ok sweet heart here goes the truth. It hurts. First you will feel like you are constipated. Then you feel like your stomach is jumping. Next you will feel real intense spasms in your stomach. Next little sharp pains. Once they are 1 minute apart the real pain starts. GET AN EPPI. TAKE THE DRUG THEY GIVE YOU. (only if you choose2 i would). Then When you push, once you are 10 cm, It feels like you have to poop. (jus to be honest) Then you can feel the baby coming down and out. Everyone says something different about how that feels. But one it is over it will be the greatest feeling you can EVER EVER have.

If you've had intense premenstral cramps, you know what labor is like - just multiply it by... oh... 50? But then some women say it isn't much worse than premenstral cramps, everybody is different. Actually pushing a baby out is quite a bit more painful, a lot of times there is either ripping or the doctor has to cut you. Take your hand and spread your fingers out and think about stretching two fingers apart until that skin rips and that's about what it's like. Thank the Lord for pain medication!!

No, you can usually walk around and sit upright until shortly before the delivery begins. My nurses had me walking up and down the hall with my husband, and had me change positions frequently when I was in bed until shortly before delivery. They don't want you to stay in one position in a normal labor. The movement and gravity help move things along- plus they keep the mom from going crazy laying in bed.
The discomfort in your legs will not be on your mind while giving birth. That is not where the pain is!
Don't worry yourself over it. Billions of women have given birth successfully.

Why are you pretending to give birth for? And yes, you do have to keep your legs up.

I'm not sure I understand why you are pretending...
But contractions feel a lot like very strong cramps. Though it's common in our western culture to give birth in stirrups, it's not required. In other cultures, women give birth in special chairs, squatting down, even standing. There is no right way to do it.

No, you do not have to keep your legs bent and apart, except for the actual birth when the baby is being delivered. Nowadays, you have an IV in your arm that you can control the pain meds, so you feel as much as you want to feel, unless the doc feels it necessary for you not to have the meds.

ummm....Well I have never given birth before but, I think you do have to have them up and apart for the whole time. I mean I know you have to do that with a pap smear. But, I don't see why it would be any different but, that is what I think. So don't take my exact words on that. i hope that helped a bit. Have a great day.

this is so funny I actually snorted, I have no idea why you would pretend to give birth but I am pretty sure from what I heard it is painful.

Why exactly are you pretending to give birth? This is ridiculous...What is your obsession about giving birth and posting it on youtube? Do you think any of us care to watch you give fake birth? I think you have a couple screws loose my friend!
