On August 31 2004, Roddick had the fastest serve in U.S. Open history: 244 km/h (152 mph) against American Scoville Jenkins.

I could have sworn it was going to be Andy Roddick, until you mentioned him being an arch-rival. They are colleagues on the ATP tour, but to call Roddick a rival of Federer's is to insult Federer and flatter Roddick.

A rivalry would mean that there is some kind of competition between the two, but if you look at the results you wil see that a rivalry doesnt come close to existing.

It came to my mind when I read "Federer's arch-rival", Even though he really isn't.

Plus he's the only one who holds the fastest serve

andy roddick i believe its like 150s and hes not federers arch rival cuz hes like 1-12 against him

hes non other than ANDY...but hes not his arch rival noe a days coz federer has beaten him in the semis of austrailian with a great margin..theres no contest left between roger and roddick now!!
