Leave her alone. If she really wants to quit, she will.
With everyone telling her what to do, they will only make the problem worse. she will continue as a rebellion.

Many smokers continue smoking not through free choice but because they are addicted to the nicotine in cigarettes. A report by the Royal College of Physicians found that nicotine complied with the established criteria for defining an addictive substance. The report states: “On present evidence, it is reasonable to conclude that nicotine delivered through tobacco smoke should be regarded as an addictive drug, and tobacco use as the means of nicotine self-administration.”

You have to acknowledge that smoking is a total dreadful and worst habit ever exists in human being's history. Why? Because a loyal smoker truly gives triple disadvantages at once everytime he smokes consciously or unconsciously:
1. He/she drains his own money.
2. He/she annihilates himself gradually.
3. He/she murders people around him deliberately.

What is your difficulty with vowels? Are you a little afraid of them, or are you just incapable of spelling properly?
While you're pondering that, consider that addicts cannot and will not listen to good advice. They will only quit when THEY decide to, and anything else on your part is a waste of time. Or, as YOU would put it, 'a wst of tme'.

You need to have an intervention for her.
get her cclosest friends, neighbors, family, kids, anybody and everybody to help her quit!
tell her what the dangers of smoking are and what they can lead to.
Good luck and God Bless.

You cannot "make" someone do anything...especially quit a habit..all you can do is be this persons friend..and tell them how you feel. And leave it at that. The more you try to persuade this person to quit, the more they will want to do it.
And please, when you post a question, try to use ALL of the parts of the words..your post was a little hard to read...
Just be there for your friend...
