pills, and slip one in her coffee, would that make the bleeding stop by tonight?

Or would two do it? I wouldn't think of slipping more than 2 because that could be dangerous.

Ladies, help, I don't know much about the pill.

It would work as a contraceptive, but it wouldn´t make her stop bleeding no matter how many you give her.

Please, for her sake, never, ever slip her pills. Not only could you mess up and give her the wrong pills (her pills contain at least hormone pills and placebo, and may be triphasic depending on brand), if she finds out she's sure not to trust you for a while, if ever.

Getting her off her regular cycle by giving one early can have very unpredictable consequences. Just don't do it. Pills aren't just a 'get out of periods free' card. They're hormones with a very delicate balance, and can cause damage if taken incorrectly.

Plus, they don't dissolve easily and she's likely to notice the pill in the coffee. Of course, she's going to figure it out, and almost certainly be very upset. I absolutely wouldn't trust someone trying to slip me meds to get some, and if it were my own husband, I wouldn't know what to think. For the sake of the relationship between you and your wife, as well as her health, just don't do it.

A previous answerer was right about it being more pleasurable during menstruation. If you can get over the 'gross' factor there is quite a lot to be gained. I don't know if she's like this, but for me, because my guy took me during my period I felt more wanted, because here's this thing that guys are all hysterical in avoiding and he's right in there anyway. Plus the extra lubrication makes women feel more. Just be sure to have a towel handy.

So, don't slip her pills. Either take her as she is, explore her other cavern, or just deal with not getting any.

When I took the combined pill (ie 3 weeks on, 1 week off) my doctor recommended I skipped the week off, and just carried packs on back to back. I have suspected endometriosis, and every period you have can cause more scarring and so give you less chance of conceiving. Now I take the mini pill (just progesteron) and I don't have any periods, at any point. There's nothing dangerous about it. It's not a real period anyway- it's just designed so that women 'feel like real women'. Personally, I'd rather not have the agony of a period!

Birth control pills won't help. They deliver a dose of hormones but you would have to give her one every morning and it would still take her 3-7days to stop. Once begun, a period has to run its course. Many women feel very horny during their period becaue of the hormones but feel really self-conscious about the mess. Laying a couple of old towels down and making love to her will win you lots of brownie points if she is feeling in the mood. Just be respectful, if she suggests sex, don't recoil in horror or you will spend Valentine's day in the doghouse.

Birth control pills don't stop your period. If you truly loved her and actually deserved the surprise you were getting tonight, you would wait until her period was over.

You know what - life's too short to give up sex for a week every month til she turns 55. And women really are extra horny during their period. Other than you giving her oral, you can do everything else. I suggest a bottle of red; a dark towel; and watch your woman go wild!

No it would not help at all. Face it, shes going to be on her period for the next 5 days or so. Sorry, but there really isn't anything you can do but be understanding about it.

Are you crazy? You don't mess with someone's medication. Anyway, even if she took one of the pills on her own accord, it won't make her period go away that fast. Be a man and just deal with it!

I don't think it would do anything at all. You're just going to have to wait. Or get a different kind of special treat.
