My friends and I have been doing all our fantasy leagues with the serpentine style draft for the last few years. Starting with this baseball season we are gonna try doing the auction draft. but alot of the guys wanna do a keeper league and they say that you cant do that with an auction draft.

Ive read some things like
-you can keep guys who were drafted for under $20
or
-you can keep X number of guys on your roster but must pay $5 more the next season for them.

So what are some Keeper rules for a Fantasy baseball league with an auction draft?

Thanks.

There are a few different ways I've come across in terms of keepers in auction leagues.

1) Add up the total dollar value of everyone's keepers (based on the current year's going rate) and divide by the total number of keepers and everyone pays the same price which is the average for a keeper.

2) Pay the same amount you paid during the initial draft.

3) Pay whatever that year's going rate for that player is.

4) Pay the drafted rate plus $2 for every year that the same player is on your roster. (ex: 3 years = drafted rate + $6)

5) Stick with the snake draft.

I hope one of those works for you.
