Living in a seaside resort, I am enjoying the winter. I can shop, enjoy a walk along the seafront, or go into the amusements or the pub, or the local restaurants without thinking that there won't be a seat. The noise levels are much reduced, and I don't have to worry about tripping over the dirty nappies the tourists leave under their cars (which they leave when they drive off). There are no drink can left in the roads, no fast food rubbish chucked in the street, and no shorts and sandals. Lovely.

Switching the heating off, opening doors & windows, hearing birdsong and lawnmowers. Being able to walk in the garden without shoes, eating 'al fresco' paddling on the shore, the list is endless. I think I want to emigrate....
