Boys are definitely possesive of their wife. Imagine your wife being a friend with another guy, they share everything and you just seem to be lost in their group, would you feel comfortable?

I'm a girl, and my best friend is a boy. The thing I notice even about our relationship is that it is not entirely platonic from at least one side. Adam has liked me since the day he met me, and every time I talk to him on the phone he gets... well, you know where that's going. Doesn't change the fact that he's one of the best friends I've ever had. He's been there for me, for a while he was my first line of deffense against myself. Wow, it's almost been six years since the day I first met him and thought he was in his mid-twenties. Funny, though, because I'm pretty sure he was 11. Either 11 or 12, I dunno.

its not that they can't...its that when they are in a relationship it just don't look good! trust me i know how this feels, my best friend is a guy, and when my hubby and i started dating he felt threatened by my bff b/c he thought that something more was going on or would go on! That is until i told him how it is! I basically showed him where the door was if he didn't like it....and i guess in my opinion that is exactly what you have to do w/ anyone else who gives your problems, show them the door, tell them listen if youd on't like me and so and so being friends then you don't have to be in my life! mind you if its your parents that don't like it thats a different story! well good luck

Because people would get in between it and say you guy were bf and gf and that would make her feel uncomfortable so she would back off a while. I personally have nothing wrong with it. I have a lot of guy friends that i trust. and i'm a girl!
