Well when I think about what I'm going to give someone at first I'm thinking about what's going to make that person happy. But then when I give it to them and they're suprised or happy I honestly feel much more happy than they are, giving makes you feel so good, and it's always suprising how good you do feel.

Of the two options, I think it's mostly to hope the receiver will feel happy.

I think its more of a people pleasing thing, but alot of times it can be just because you love that person...Most of the time, i give gifts to suck up to people so that they will like me...
