It hit on a 3 day weekend, I took my (then new) bride to a very romantic dinner then off we went to a great bed and breakfast up the (NorCal) coast. We heard waves and seagulls all weekend, looked at the ocean from our deck and spent plenty of quality time in the in-room jacuzzi or in front of the fireplace.

You're such a sweetheart :-) that's really interesting it worked out so well for you this month despite being prepared to 'put it all on hold'. I've said it to you before and I'm gonna say it again...CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS!!! BRILL news about your blood test, I bet that's the little extra bit of reassurance you needed to put your mind at rest. All's you need to do now is take care of yourself and wait until you get the cutest little baby bump! I can't wait for mine...haha, whenever I say that to friends or family who have been pregnant before, they say "are you crazy?! Nothing fits anymore and you feel so heavy"...I might change my mind when the time comes but I'm so looking forward to being pregnant someday soon - including that bump! I'm hoping for a Valentine's BFP, that would be so amazing! I'll be due AF around the 10th or 11th so I'm keeping my fingers crossed as always! Good luck to all the other lovely ladies on here too Lots of love and sticky, positive baby vibes xxx

Yes, last year I was sick and felt terrible the day before Valentine's Day... my boyfriend came over, and when I wasn't paying attention he took my spare car keys. The next morning I felt much better because I got so much rest due to his pampering the night before. When I walked into my kitchen there was a big boquet of roses and when I went to get in my car for work it was decorated with balloons, candy, rose petals (fake so they wouldn't stain the interior), stuffed animals, and a very sweet message in a bottle... I'm so excited to see what he comes up with this year, but even if it's not as over the top as last year the fact that he gives me his love and that he cares is the best gift I could ever receive!

An email from my BF who lives miles away wishing me a happy Valentine's Day and saying that he can't email me today because of work. Great..

great question. the best thing i have seen on valentine's day was when my aunt katie (you know, the one with a lot of cushion for the pushin) and my grams (you know, the one that fell through the floor) realized their true feelings for each other. now my aunt is grams' lesbian life partner. it's beautiful.
