I am not a twig by any means, but I am still relatively small. Don't know what I where currently but I do know that it falls somewhere between 3s and 7s. I haven't shopped for pants in a long time, and I wear small t-shirts.

My friend is... well... let's just say that if I wear small she should be in XXL. I think she is, too, when her clothes fit. What she doesn't understand is that just because you can squeeze into a shirt doesn't mean that it's attractive, and more importantly, doesn't mean that it will spring back.

Growing up I'd allways been the bigger friend, and was perceptive enough to know that if my size was large, I shouldn't wear a small. I can't figure out how to tell her that I don't want her wearing my clothes. She pretty much ruined a shirt that I've only worn two or three times and the jacket she "borrowed" I don't even want back because the material wasn't as springy as the shirt and she had to stretch it more. What should I do here?

You Should Just Let Her Know That It's Not Okay That She's Borrowing Your Clothes..If You Let Her Off Easy The First Time And The Problem Still Continues, It's Time For Harsh Criticism. Tell Her She Too Big For Your Clothes!!

Tell her that the clothes you bought are an investment and you will need them to last a while and for that reason you'd prefer not to lend your clothes out. Tell her the next time you go on a clothes shopping trip that you will invite her along and you two can have a girls day out shopping for clothes.

If that answer is not good enough for her and if she presses further to borrow your clothes she is now being RUDE. And then it will be perfectly ok to tell her that because she is of a different size than you that when she returns clothes they are streched out and ruined and you can no longer wear them.

Bottom line: Its your money, they are your clothes, and you are not a charity. I think its admirable though that you go to great lengths to not hurt your friend's feelings.

Next time she asks just tell her no. I know there will be a moment of uncomfortable silence, then of course followed by a why? Sometimes honesty is the best policy. Tell her that she ruined two pieces of clothing and that you both are two different sizes. If she wants to fight about, tell her this isn't a reason to fight and if she likes that piece of clothing so much, tell her to go buy one for herself.

Good luck! Some women, don't have a clue!

You should tell her to wear here own clothes and wear bigger ones but you don't want to hurt her feelings so next time your with her (not in a public place) wear something that's way to small so small she will have to say something that way you can tell her that that's how she looks in her clothes.

Hope this works

Well this happens to me as well my freind loves getting my clothes and stretching them out as well..... Its a curse of having cute clothes lol !!!! Anyway....Offer to go to the store and look at clothes showing her what would look good on her knowing that it's better rather than ur small clothes.... Big girls can look good but in their sizes not ours.... If its ur style she enjoys look at simular styles but differnent sizes that fit her body type better... Or dont go to ur room when she comes over so she wont get a sneak peak at ur goods...

Just explain to her that you can't share your clothes because they don't come back the same way they went out. Be sensitive enough to listen to her side as well as getting your point across.

Not sure of your age, or if you live at home. But whatever your situation, you need to speak up for yourself, and let her know that you no longer choose to participate in the borrowing game.
If you cant bring yourself to do that, then blame it on your mom.
She wont allow it. And you respect your mom's wishes. Sometimes mom's come in handy for such 'blame'. ;)

That you would be able to tell your buddy about his unhealthy breath privately. Just between you two. He could admire you telling him about it; afterall, you might be doing him a favor and saving him from any embarrassment one day.

you may tell your buddy about his undesirable breath privately. only between you 2. He might want to delight in you telling him about it; afterall, you're doing him a pick and saving him from any embarrassment in the destiny.
