Naturally. It is impossible to protect from terrorism. Look at what always happens (and this is in any country): A terrorist act occurs, and then the security hole is closed. This is known as locking the stable door after the horse has bolted. It is simple to do, has a high public profile, but at the end of the day it's too little too late.
Terrorists will use inventive and unpredictable methods in order to get around security already in place. The thing about that is that it is unpredictable and therefore hard to see before it happens. It is hard to see a security hole until after it is breached. No doubt there are security consultants who work for the government already employed to seek out and find holes. If they do their jobs right, we never see how effective they are. If something does get through, it is often assumed that they are doing their jobs wrong. A higher public profile of their successes is counterproductive as terrorists will then know what to avoid.
In short, we are protected a lot more than we know, arguably as much as is possible, and definitely never as much as we need.

The problem is that we are in bed with too many evil people. It's not a BUSH problem or a Demo/Repub problem, its a greedy, poilitical problem. The people that SEEM to be running our country really have less power than you think. It's the people that help put them in power, the people behind the scenes (way behind the scenes) that really have control of things. Out politicians have som many political favors to return in office that it is a wonder they get anything positive done!
Not to mention that Saudi Arabia, Mexican drug lords, and other middle eastern countries have tons of influence because of money. After all, the LOVE of money is the ROOT of all evil.
What else could explain why we leave our borders virtually unprotected when we know for a fact there are 20-something suitcase nukes from the former Soviet Union floating around the world somewhere. For years now, terrosist groups have made it known that they plan to blow up at least 10 major U.S. cities at one time. (24 is not as fictional as we might hope)
I once knew the wife of a high ranking CIA official. Her very secretive husband used to tell her "You would never sleep a wink if you knew what security issues took place just in the Southeastern United States in a given day!"
How long until something terrible happens....hmmm...I give it 5-10 years - Radical Muslims are disciplined and patient people!

The Patriot Act isn't an major threat. It would not strip any constitutional liberties. It basically sticks its nostril into elements that were personal. yet there are guidelines that are an instantaneous threat, including the militia Commissions Act handed basically in the previous the election. It specifically violates structure. Article a million area 9, through postponing habeas corpus. fifth modification, through allowing coerced and compelled self-incrimination. sixth modification, denial of counsel. sixth modification, actual to disagreement. sixth modification, actual to present witnesses. eighth modification, cruel and unusual punishment. eighth modification, denial of bail listening to. fifth modification, due procedure. So, the question is -- at the same time as can the authorities basically ignore with regard to the criteria of the structure because they imagine it would make people safer? How a lot preemptive protection would properly be achived utilising patently unlawful means?

Our trust has to be in the Lord.
Our Government will not be able to protect us.
We are a Client nation to God, not a Christian Nation.
Christians in this Nation our Apostate.
We are under discipline, the 5th cycle of discipline. This discipline started on 9/11.
We will have another terrorist attack if CHRISTIANS in these United States of America do not use 1John1:9 and pray 2nd Chronicles 7:14.
It is a Holy war. It can only be fought spiritually.
How else should a Holy war be fought?
Man will disappoint you but God never will.
God is not some wimpy, peace, love, hippy dude.
He is righteousness and justice.
The Bible says thou shalt not murder, not thou shalt not kill.
Jesus Christ himself will come back and kick some a** in the Middle East.
This sounds crazy, but are not the terrorist crazy?
It is a spiritual war, it needs a spiritual solution.
This is a war not won on a battlefield but lost in our minds.
If you are an "unbeliever", you should encourage Christians to study their Bible, apply the word of God and pray.
The terrorists do not distinguish believer from unbeliever, they will kill us all.
I believe in Freedom, Free choice, Freedom of religion.
I just know that believers are the solution as they are the problem.
God can frustrate the plans of evil nations.
Anti-Semitism will be dealt with.
Iran is doomed.
Peace out.

The only way to truley protect you from outside threats is to shut down the borders. Not going to happen. People want to be safe but only if it's convient and they dont have to pay for it. If the government told you they could keep you totally safe but it would cost $5,000 for ever citizen in extra taxes each year and they needed access to every phone and all mail so they could track communications how many people would be in favor??

You are absolutely correct!
Bush's "700 mile fence" along a border of 2,300 miles is absolutely ridiculous to say the least!
In fact - we are not any safer today than when the Terrorists took down the Towers on 9/11!
This is just Republican "denial" along with their propoganda to try to make us believe that we are safer and "must keep these farces of Wars going" against the Terrorists!
Give it another couple of years and we will pull our troops out of Afghanistan - just like the Russians did!

Protect yourself from terrorism. Purchase firearms and support your legal right to bear arms. Become proficient in using the weapons you own and respect them.

The Current Situation
Based on the abundance of reliable, verifiable information provided on the www.WantToKnow.info website, it appears that there are factions within the world's power elite which desire to exert as much control over the world as possible.(The U.S. government is a puppet to these factions),Their primary means for establishing control are through promoting fear, secrecy, and polarization, and through distracting people from their deeper purpose in life. As these factions gain ever greater power and control, our freedoms and liberties are increasingly taken away, sometimes without our even realizing it. i.e. The Patriot Act.
Fear is used as a powerful tool of control by these factions of the global elite. "The terrorists want to kill us all.", "Your job, savings, and retirement are no longer secure.", "You are either for us or against us.", "We might be attacked at any time.". All of these messages push us towards fear. And by encouraging us to focus blame on others such as terrorists and evil leaders, the global power brokers push us away from feeling in control of our lives and towards the role of powerless victims. The more we slip into fear and being victims, the easier it is for us to be manipulated.
Many people don't want to know about the major cover-ups going on in our world. Feeling relatively secure and content in their personal lives, they choose to avoid matters which might disturb their contentment. Yet as long as we choose complacency over awareness, these major cover-ups will continue. In fact, they will likely grow in magnitude until people are finally forced to open their eyes and deal with the consequences. The sooner each of us decides that we do want to know, and that we are willing to invite others to open their eyes, the more easily we will be able to build a world that supports the good of all of us.
Do a little research and determine for yourself whether there is truth to the information provided.
Don't panic. Don't fear. Calmly and intelligently expose the facts.
