You can try the Box Office at the Gershwin, but I wouldn't count on it. Wicked is always sold out. TKTS will not have tickets. When I saw Wicked in NYC last year, I got my ticket 2 months in advance. Sorry, man. There are some other great shows right now. Does she have a second choice?

If you are staying at a hotel in New York, call the concierge. They are your best bet in finding last-minute tickets.
This bad weather may mean you're in luck! Try calling the box office and asking if there have been cancellations. Keep in mind that many people will only cancel at the last possible second and that many box offices will not open those seats until a set time (calling the box office might help you figure out what time that is, it could be as late as a few minutes before curtain). It is likely necessary for you to go to the box office; many only sell cancellations to those physically present. Others will be there as well, and it will be first come first serve, so get in line early to give yourself the best chance.
Lastly, check eBay and Craig's List in NYC to see if anyone is trying to get rid of tickets that the weather prevents them from using.
Otherwise, expect to pay through the nose for last minute, sold-out performances. try calling (212) 220-0500 a number provided by Telecharge for "Premium Tickets" or searching on the web. There are a lot of companies that specialize in last-minute sales for high mark-ups.

With the snow storm, there is a chance of getting tickets. Go to the Box Office and the TKTS booth in Times Square. Go Quickly!
When I was a "theatre fanatic," snowstorms were my favorite time to get tickets, people are safely ensconced in their apartments and would rather stay home. I saw many "sold out" plays during snow storms.

Go to TKTS and wait in the cold at Broadway and 52nd I think. Right by the Olive Garden. Or, tell your girl you are going to try for student rush tickets at the last minute, and not to get her hope up.
Wicked is stupid, anyway. Go see Spring Awakening.

Wicked may be "stupid" but it is a very typical plot for a broadway play, and most girls are in love W/it
