If you remember the Music Video to the song it shows her running and running in this what looks to be a condemned castle or large run down mansion. I suspect he says he will do anything for love but when he refers to WONT DO THAT, i suspect its chase her fears and nightmares or perhaps insecurities. There has to be some kind of symbolism with why she is running away in the video in that oh so hot white sheer outfit.

Anyone remember the Group THE CALL? There is a similar song called... I Don't Wanna. The singer says he isn't going to hold her shaking hand, he isn't there to wipe her tears away, he isn't there to make her nightmares go away... He is just there to love her.
