The following are some of the measures:
1. The business follow all acts enacted and are in force, with respect to labour's salary, working hours, health, injury and compensation etc., Be transparent in your accounting.
2. The environment of the Work place must be kept clean, and tidy and material stacking should be according to norms to minimise accidents.
3. Noise levels in factories must be maintained according to standards. Protective devices must be provided.
4. Machines replacement policy must be followed.
5. Proper material handling facilities shall be available to handle hazardous and bulky substances.
6. Waste disposal, whether solid, liquid or gas must be according to the environmental acts.
7. The product should bear all statistics of weight, volume, handling precautions and methods for safe keeping etc.,
8. Quality specification followed and manufactured and expiry dates must be provided on packings. Packings must be appropriate for the nature of the product.
9. Where customer education is necessary, it should be done.
10. Warranty and guarantee claims must be attended to the satisfaction of the customers.

Be honest with their stock holders. They are already being killed with Workman's comp payments, and they should be somewhat involved in the community that supports them. They provide jobs, which is a great service in and of itself.
