I think Gladys Knight's place has great soul food. I think it is called Gladys and Rays and it is on Peachtree St downtown near Crawford Long Hospital. Been there and they have the best buckwheat waffles and pancakes in Atlanta. Fried chicken and fresh veggies cooked like they used to make them.

in case you want semi-expensive you ought to attempt Fogo De Chao. it really is a brazilian gaucho restaraunt the position they stroll round with 27 different cuts of meat. $50 a plate, although that's all you may eat, so come hungry.nicely worth it and they valet for loose. the workers is likewise very attentive. The Atlanta FISH marketplace (about $25/plate) has lots of the proper seafood that you'll discover in the city, attempt the crab tarts. if you're searching for a chilled, a lot less expensive restaraunt with large "each and every thing" from sushi to seafood to sandwiches, Twist supplies lots of the proper. that's an particularly hip, youthful, social scene with sturdy track and massive human beings.

So many to choose from!!! Moved away from there about 15 years ago, but there was the great rest. called Panos and Pauls (or something like that, can't remember the exact spelling)...anyway, they were known for their deep fried lobster tails. Expensive, but worth it! Close to Buckhead.

Brookwood Cafe-if it is still there, near Norcross...always a good meal and not too expensive.

Micks-best deserts around, and yummy french fries!

El Torrero-best Mexican food for cheap!!!

Provinos-best cheap Itallian food, oh and the garlic rolls, to die for!

ENJOY
