She called me to thanks me ...she received a bouquet of flowers
At work. from someone claiming to be a secret admirer..
I feel a bit bad because I didn’t send her anything at work but I was thinking to give her something when I see her.
she thought it was me. and I told her I wasn’t
I was thinking to just give her something simple.. like a flower and a card and some chocolate ,..
How would u feel? do?

I think you did good telling her it was not you. As of now, you better catch up with that, don't let the secret admirer outsmart you. I don't mean spoil her, just, don't let him catch up, most of the times is not actual gifts but.. you know, the other things what will remind her she should not try out for the other dude.

I agree totally with Sunshine's answer - she could get flowers from 10 admirers - but she 'chose' you!
Over the years, I have seen so many different Valentine's Day little games that people play - such as, she sent the flowers to herself to get your reaction cause she's not secure in your relationship and wants to find out how you really feel; her girlfriend sent the flowers to her because the girlfriend figures she could get better than you and wants her to think there is an admirer out there to prove it; her girlfriend really wants you, so sent the flowers so that you would get upset and end up breaking up with her, then girlfriend can have you; the office prankster sent flowers to sit back and watch the reactions of all; there really is a secret admirer - for this option - your best reaction is pride - give her hugs and kisses and tell her how beautiful she is and that you are not surprised in the least that she has a secret admirer - and that you are so glad that she is yours - don't be jealous - be loving!

I think I would start to worry and ask some questions. Sounds like there is someone out there that is trying to move in on you. I also think if you love her you should be a little more than simple. Women may say they dont want anything for V-day, but do you honestly believe them. All women want to feel special. They want to get flowers or something sent to them at work just to show everyone that they have someone that loves them. Good Luck.

WeeHaw! competition! or maybe she sent to self. But that you will never know :p Its not something you need to top so don't try, she is with you cause she likes you best. Something simple is what i would stick with but make the words you write on that card meaningful and true. Girls aren't really as materialistic as peeps think. We like simple true words too. I would compliment the flowers when you see them saying something to the affect that they are smart they sent you flowers as beautiful as you and use a true smile if you been together long she knows your fake ones :) Don't get to worked up over and let it go... if it continues then i would worry. Just show her that you love her as you have always done with a little extra touching today =)) good luck

He wouldn't be a "secret" admirer after the first 2 times no more, that's one thing for sure. Also, if I received flowers every 2 - 3 weeks, I would think the guy is "overboard". But that's only me---I simply think that it is beautiful, but personally I consider sending flowers all the time a total waste of money. What's on the card? Anything that doesn't go "dirty" would be appreciated. But like I said, that's only me

I can only imagine how that would make you feel. But about this....
she's YOUR girlfriend...so it's kind of nice that another also finds her wonderful. But remember....YOU TWO are the couple....so ALL IS WELL. Relax and have a lovely evening with her. Don't start thinking you need to be anyone but you...don't "over-try" to be romantic, just because she received those flowers. Be yourself...after all.....she chose YOU as her boyfriend.

Oh goodness..if I were you, I'd probably be trying to find out who this "secret admirer" is..and tell him to back off my girl! Of course, I am a girl..so I'll never be in your posistion..haha:] But seriously, A flower, card, && chocolate sounds great to me...she should love it:D

I'm sure that she would love anything if it was given from you. I would be a bit worried about the flowers, ask her if she has any idea who they could be from, but try not to let it come between you. Just make sure you give her loads of attention and make her see how great you are.

Oh boy...sounds like someone at work, or maybe even one of your friends, has a crush on her? I'd watch her....you never know...she may just act on it if she finds out who this "secret admirer" is.
