It depends on the OB. Some will induce because the mother is tired of being pregnant, others won't induce unless the situation is life threatening.

It is common to be dizzy during late pregnancy--your body is busy doing things other than keep oxygen levels in your brain at a steady rate. Call your doctor and tell him/her that you are having dizzy spells and go from there.

Good luck!! Your little one will be in your arms before you know it!

They might. It is up to the doctor. I was having lots of problems towards the end of my pregnancy where I was "going funny" as my family called it. I would kind of go out of conciousness and just stare or say that I felt funny, they had me do a 24 hour urine collection, before they decided to induce because I was pre-eclamptic. So they will probably do tests and try to get rid of the dizzy spells themselves first.

It would be completely up to your OB or the OB on staff at the hospital. I am sure they would prefer to eliminate the cause of the dizzy spells, if possible. For instance, standing up quickly after laying on your back for a while can cause dizzy spells, at this point in the pregnancy.

not unless you are in labor or if your baby is in some kind of trouble. go to the doctor and tell him what is going on and have him tell you what to do next. good luck.
