I'm 13, and i want to know when i might start...I started ovulating late this summer but i still don't have my period? Is there any other signs of it?? Does the ovulation turn a different color or something?

well i started my period in the middle of my seventh grade yr...umm i had lots of discharge (gross but true)...and right be4 i start i get really moody and want sugar and salt... your body will start when it feels like it and you will have different syptoms of your own...you suuually start when you are AT LEAST 105-110 lbs...it will come in time...i always wanted my period to come cuz i thought it would make me more of a woman but once you get it...it stays till meopause...and beleive it ot not it gets really annoying and you feel like crap when its that time of the month...hope it helped...

How do you know you're ovulating. And no, ovulation doesn't turn a different colour. If you talk about discharge, when you start your period it can look brownish. Just because the colour changes doesn't mean you're ovulating. Usually with the ovulation the period starts. It might take a few months to come, it most probably starts with cramping pain, from either light to very severe and then the blood comes. Don't be anxious, once you've got it, you will come to hate it. Just remember , you will be stuck with it for the next 40-45 years.

How do you know you are ovulating?? Especially at 13?

you haven't started ovulating if you haven't started having your period ...
personally, my breasts get sore and i break out (acne) more right before i start my period.
