With blind belief you're wasting your time. Its better to have tried and failed then to have not tried at all.

Another deep question!
I couldn't put my trust in blind faith. To many absolutes have eventually been proven wrong for me to believe blindly in anything. IE: The world was flat for thousands of years until a couple explorers in the 15th century didn't fall off the edge.
I'm sure it gives one peace of mind to have blind faith because then there is no thinking or questioning involved. English poet Thomas Gray said: “Where ignorance is bliss, / ‘Tis folly to be wise.” I'm sure that's the easiest road for most people but not for me. Easy isn't always the best way to anything.

It takes a little of both, if that makes sense. There will always be things we don't understand, but that's no reason to throw out your faith. Trust what you feel deep in your spirit. The Bible says to work out your own salvation (Philippians 2:12-13).
There are many paths in this journey of life, as long as Jesus is the vehicle in which you travel, so to speak, you will end up at the desired destination.
Don't concern yourself with things you don't understand or can't explain, just do what you know to do and seek as much truth as you can comprehend.
Have a great day!

It was the Enlightened thinkers in Europe (which traveled to America and formed our "free nation") that said "blind faith" is for the ignorant and fearful....those with blind faith fear death, the afterlife, heaven, hell, and belief what is spoonfed to them by the church and religious leaders...the bottom line is blind faith is not a belief in "GOD". It is a belief in what someone tells you...thats why its BLIND faith...here's some advice: always think for yourself and never just take a person's word for it (especially if you think they are wrong) "When you are physically 'stuck', remember that you are still spiritually FREE."

I believe even if all ur life u seek and don,t find is better than live like a machin! the case is not u will understand or not (though I believe if u search u will find for sure) but the case is u try to. all the meaning of ur life define by how much do u know and what u know, so never even think of living with no question. no question means die.

to answer the question "which is better" it depends on the individuals strength and personal ability to be a good person. Many people need the "crutch" of blind faith and religion in order to feel like they are good people and their lives are meaningful. Others (like myself) are perfectly happy and don't need to blindly follow religion without questioning it.

It is better to question, but it is needlessly pessimistic to think you won't find answers. "Ask, and it will be answered, seek, and you will find." Just don't expect ever again to fit comfortably back into the tiny box of blind faith. Oh, and there's no final answer. Every so often, having lived more, learned more, suffered more, you get an even better answer. Read "Zen Flesh, Zen Bones" by Paul Repp to get a sense of even Zen masters experiencing degrees of enlightenment.

Faith in Christ need not be blind as over time he will prove Himself to you. Just ask and be open to the answer. it will come because He's real. If you ask with sincerity the answer comes.
