Which is easier bass or acoustic ?

i wanna know cuz i wanna play bass and mom said i need to know how 2 do acoustic.........are they that hard to play ?

Biggest difference from acoustic-bass is on acoustic which is the best way to learn the guitar first cause of ease of playing any song and being able to recognize the tune right away. with guitar you learn chords-using all of your finger to hold the strings and playing notes. Bass you only start out playing the root notes of chords-so it may be one finger or two to start playing. Bass really holds the band together by laying down the groove and pattern for songs. With bass it is important to memorize the notes g,d,a, e-4 string, or g,d,a,e, and b-5 string. I play bass and love it. Best of luck to you!

if you wanna do rock, then get an electric bass.
acoustic is for folk, bluegrass etc
