the only things ive herd from people and say that they work is going for a half hour walk two-three times a day. Also having sex. best if you orgasm from it. If you have an orgasm it causes your uterus to contract a little bit and that can bring on real contractions.

Some doctors and midwives suggest enemas. But in general, the best things you can do are walk a LOT and have orgasms (which can trigger contractions).

I hated being induced. I was nearly three weeks past my due date, the induction lasted more than two days, and I ended up having an emergency c-section because the baby was stuck. I know you're tired of being pregnant (or at least I was by that point!), but it really will be better if you can go into labor without being induced--your body will be more ready for it.

Good luck!

Never Ever take anything unless your doctor tells you it's ok. When I was pregnant my mother took me on alot of walks....and I mean alot....to try to get my into labor. It didn't work but I ended up becoming pre-eclamptic and since I was full term anyway by then I was induced. It's really nice acctually makes you wonder what all the other woman complain about. It is a long process though at least it was for me, I went in at 8am and around noon they started stuff and then I went on and on but my daughter wasn't acctually born until 3am the next morning!

Walking, deep squats (also great for stretching the muscles in preparation), orgasms, and there's a pressure point in the ankle that if applied correctly can induce labor. I think it's on the outside about an inch below the bone, but you'd have to check around on that.

Well the best thing to do is walk around. Like go to the mall or the store and walk around. That's what they did for a friend of mine mother. The doctor told the family to take her to the store or mall and have her walk around. It helped her water break and dilate.

Exercise, walk alot and remember to drink plenty of fluids. Try some yoga, and relaxation techniques too. The cervix is a muscle and the best thing to do is relax it. The exercise and walking will help your baby to further fall into position.

in case you may get with the aid of it with out the epidural then decide for it! i do no longer see how women persons do it...it became to the factor i think of i'd have handed out from discomfort if it were plenty longer. With mine, they informed me to take place at 7:00 am to get triggered. I first crammed out some paper paintings, then the nurse asked me lots of questions, then they placed a catheder in, then they placed an IV in and commenced pitocin. approximately an hour later I wasn't get any contractions so she grew to become up the pitocin and the Dr. broke my water...interior 5 minutes i became having non-quit contractions. I informed the nurse i needed an epidural, she known because it in good then, besides the indisputable fact that it took approximately an hour and a nil.5 for the guy to take place to do it. It became very undesirable discomfort, yet as quickly as I have been given the epidural it became instantaneous relief and felt no longer the rest something of work and transport. I do remember good in the previous i began out to push the Dr. grew to become down my epidural truly low so i'd desire to experience somewhat and understand while to push. yet by no ability felt any discomfort lower back reason I in basic terms pushed 4 situations and he became out. The epidural will numb you, sometimes too plenty, the place i could no longer roll from one section to the different with out the nurse assisting me..i'd defintely propose it!
