I work in the loop but live a 2 hour train ride away, and I don't have time to run home to shower then ride all the way back to the airport. But, I'll really need the shower cause I'll be on the fight all night. If someone knows a really cheap hotel (cheap beause I'll only use the room to shower, I won't stay there all night) or has any other ideas on the matter I would be very thankful.

I don't think there is such a thing as a cheap hotel in the Loop, and if it is it would be a dump. Just clean up in a private bathroom before the flight. Do you have some kind of oily discharge or skin problem that you can't put off a shower? Or take one in the morning before work instead of the night before. Or find a gym or health club and say you want to try it out before joining and just use the showers.

If all you're doing is showering, I think you'd be better off using the facilities of a gym. You're looking at close to $100 for anything that's not just one step up from a homeless shelter. There are gyms all over downtown, though--particularly north of the river. Most will have a fairly cheap day membership, and if you explain your situation you might even be able to use the shower for free.

If you're flying out of O'Hare, there's a health club in terminal two that you might be able to use. I'm guessing they allow people to use it on a pay-one-time basis since people are flying in and out and probably won't be signing up for full memberships. I'm pretty sure they HAVE to have a shower there. Not sure what they have at Midway (if you're flying out of there). Give their customer service a call (773-838-0600) and ask if they have some sort of shower facility thing you could use. It would seem like they would.

The cheapest I found was on hotwire. I attached the link below. Too bad you don't have a gym membership where you could just pop in and take a shower at your gym and not have to worry about the hotel. Or some place like the YWCA. Best of luck. =)
