I know that Disney World is in Orlando. However, I will be in Tampa and was wondering how long it will take for me to drive to Orlando? Can I make the drive back and forth in a day and still enjoy the park? Also, are there any fun things to do in Tampa?

It takes me an hour to drive to Orlando, but it will depend on traffic, what time of day you are travelling. But there is plenty time to drive back and forth. The good thing about staying in Tampa is that you are near the beaches and you can enjoy the water. There is a lot of things to do in Tampa depending on your interests, museums, old florida tours, Ybor City, shopping, antiques, boardwalk, concerts and a great night life, flee markets, boat rides, the state fair is on right now.

Depending on where you are inTampa, it will take you about 1-3 hours depending on distance and TRAFFIC!

As far as Tampa, the weather is nice so you could maybe chech out the beaches. It might be too cold to swim, but still relaxing. There is the Aquarium at Channelside. Channelside has alot of shops and restaurants. Also, you could check out the Lightning at a hockey game. Ybor City is good for partying.

Depending on what day of the week it is and what time of day you're traveling, it will take you an hour minimum. If the traffic is bad it could be close to 2 hours though. It's not a bad trip though for a day....very doable.
