ok I just had a baby in may of 2006! I got my tubes tied, the same day my daughter was born.

I am 2 weeks late, what are the chances of me getting pregnant again. I took 3 preg. test already and they all have come out negative. but why haven't i started yet?

your body does funky things. even if it's been this long, it takes a Looooong time for your body to feel "normal" again.

heck, i had our baby 5 months ago and i had a normal period, then missed one and now i just had one that lasted about 3 weeks.
sorry if that's too much info!

anywho....i'm sure you're fine, but if you're freaked, then call your OB for a test and check up. no hurt in that!

Possible= but unlikely= depending on how they tied them makes a difference- right after birth- everything is very swollen and has been through a lot of work= so the tubes get tied- then the swelling goes down- and the swelling in the tubes goes down- so it is possible that an egg and sperm can get in there after the swelling has gone down- possible but not likely= stress can also make you late- or hormones being off- D

there are several reasons why you could be late it doesn't necessarily mean you are pregnant as for your tubes being tied in some rare cases the tubes have come untied. If you took three pregnancy test than more than likely you are not pregnant read this

Periods are usually irregular for about a year after giving birth. If you are 2 weeks past your expected period and all three tests have come back negative, then you are most likely not pregnant. If you are paranoid, then have your OB do a blood test. Most likely it's just an irregular or even skipped period. I wouldn't worry.

This is a scary deal. The tests are usually pretty accurate. You might be under alot of stress, and you might just be irregular just because. If you're really concerned, wait another week if your period hasn't started, or go in to a clinic like planned parenthood and have a blood test done. Good luck.

Hormone levels would probably high enough to see on urine tests now, but go to the doctor. Some women miss periods for no reason at all. If you had your tubes tied I doubt you're pregnant.

relax. and calm down. you freaking out is some of the reason. could be a number of things. sometimes women skip periods for absolutely no reason it just happens. relax. and wait a few weeks. your not pregnant you just skipped a period once you have missed two periods i would see the doctor. you could be irregular or going through a cycle shift no need to panic til you have a positive test

Ok it could be your stressing out to much that your period will not come until later on or, your period cycle is changing. But the best thing you could do right now is go to the doctor to find out what is going on. Don't always rely on HPT.

Your period can be affected by many things other than pregnancy....stress, dieting, strenuous excercise....all these things could cause your period to be late...

If you got your tubes tied it's very unlikely that you are pregnant!

Good luck!
