I know in my city we don't have a heterosexual pride parade or festival or day on the calender, but we get that for the gay population.

Definitely! I am in a heterosexual monogamous relationship and it always bugs me when I hear people talk about how if homosexuals have the same rights (as far as marriage and the rights associated with marriage), it will some how degrade the sanctity of marriage.
What a joke! The sanctity of marriage has already been degraded by countless numbers of heterosexuals. Over half of all hetero couples get divorced, heteros marry for mere hours on a whim, some heteros marry multiple women. Neat.
We have created quite a mess of marriage, maybe its time to let homosexuals have a shot at it and see if they can do any better!

Yes - If homosexuals really want acceptance they should ban together and go after those who prey on young children. A vocal and aggressive no tolerance civic group made of gay people who shun those predators and assist in catching them. The way it appears now, is though it is silently approved because it a part of a coming out. There just doesn't appear to be any no do or dont's.

wowwww, what a shallow question. We're all equal. We all deserve the same rights, and we all are right. There is nothing wrong about being a homosexual, i'm not a gay person, but i know people who are and they function exactly the same.

Yes they deserve the exact same rights homosexual people have. That might wake them up a little.

Equality is equality is equality.
Equality cannot exist if one person or group is favoured over another. This includes the abolition of special governmental programs and special legal recourse for minority groups. Only when gender, race, sexual preference etc are not worth mentioning will we have equality. To paraphrase George Orwell; "No animals can be more equal than other animals."
Er, I mean YES. Apologies for the rant.

Of course we do. And it goes the same if it were vise versa. No matter what the sexuality that someone has choosen to follow they are still a person and we all deserve the same rights.

I thought both had the same rights and freedoms. I don't care about homosexual people, I don't want to know if they are homosexual or not and I don't want to hear about it. Keep it to themselves, as far as I know heterosexual people don't flaunt their sexual orientation to the public at least where I live they don't.
