I hate valentines day because every day with my girlfriend I am a good boyfriend, and I make her feel loved. Every day she makes me feel loved, and we have a great relationship, never argue and are best mates. We just hate the way every chav Kev in the country treats their g/f like crap all year and thinks they can cheesily make it up to them on Valentines with a bit of money, it's just very sold out and unromantic a day anyway, we are romantic, valentines day isn't

Don't worry. It won't be romantic no matter what you do.

Pasta with shrimp and scallops with a white sauce. Little Garlic Bread on the side with some white wine. And just because you hate Valentines Day doesn't mean it cant be romantic. :)

Hog jowls and chitterlings.
Just kidding, cook whatever you want since it's just another day to you. Hope it's extra nice for you and your sweetheart. Have a nice day!
p.s. Yum, you said something with shrimp. What about shrimp jambalaya! There are several recipes on the net, just find the one that suits you. Something hot and spicy for this winter weather sounds delicious.

Its got to be something like beans on toast or a bacon sarnie.. just think of all the things you usually eat, none of these are romantic. Its not all about what you eat, its what you do that makes it romantic, so don't put out any candles or anything like that!! Happy UNvalentines..

Prawn Cocktail is really easy starter, garnished with avocado and lettuce.
Spaghetti Bol is very quick and easy, spice it up with chopped chilli's and a splash of red wine.
Have a fruit kebab - forget eating it at the table... take it to bed with whipped cream, chocolate/strawberry sauce and a glass of champagne!

Pork chop, apple sauce, brocolli, carrots and potatoes. Bit of gravy, very nice, very unromantic.

Cook something casual, that u usually eat or even that u don't like too much but it will be rude, so try the usual food.
