Anime is nothing like what we have over here for cartoon shows because it has more of a deeper/intense storyline, and more focus on the main characters development through the whole show. Anime is Japanese animation and it is no connection to Hentai which is Jap Porn based on the characters of certain anime shows, everyone on here got the two mixed up. If you are going to get involved with anime my suggestions would be stick with the dubbed english version fist then when you understand more of what it is about you can move over to the better subbed version( uncut, jap language with english subtitles. Anime isn't for everyone but it does have its own fan base, and no its not just 40 yr vigrins.

Anime is short for amimation in Japan. Here in America, nerds seem to cling to it. It's like pokemom and dragon ball z. Stuff for little boys.
I bet most of the guys that are into it are 40 Year Old Virgins!!
