Congratulations you are going through pregnancy right along with her. Boy, if all men were like that. You must love her alot. It is sympathy that brings this on. It is spun off from your emotions about what she is going through. It will probably stop for you when it stops for her. Or it could even stop once you know what is going on with you.

I have heard of this, and everyone is right on with calling them sympathy pains. Not every man gets them, and the intensity of how much they feel them varies. My mom knew a couple that after they'd gone through the first pregnancy, when the husband woke up and got sick on his way to do chores (farm couple), he came back in and told his wife she was pregnant again. She didn't even know yet, but he was right!

Yes this is called sympathy pains. Often men can feel sick with or for the mother. He can often experience many of her pains, but don't let how you feel affect how you are there for her. She will get really upset at you for that. Good luck

Nobody really knows why, but yes - men can experience so-called sympathy pains. It isn't restricted to morning sickness, either.

Sure, my husband gained weight and even hurt in the same places I did. Weird, huh? They are called sympathy pains.
You might also just have the flu.

Sympathy pains... honestly, it's a bit annoying, it's like faking sick, except for real!

It has been known to happen. It is sympathy pains. I would love it if my husband felt what I did. Maybe he would understand a little more.
