THAT BABY IS NOT 26 WEEKS - IMPOSSIBILITY
if the hospital is happy with her - be happy with that
premature children are all different and are born with different weights / problems
try www.bliss.co.uk - this is a site for people with premature children - a discussion board - people on there will be able to answer alot of your questions as they / like me have had a premature baby and know what your going through

But I'm amazed that she weighed that much at 26 weeks! Wow...she sounds like she's doing VERY well with her weight! That's awesome. Is she yours?
My daughter was born at 27 weeks and she weighed 1 lb. 14 oz. at birth. She's now 12 months old and weighs 15 lbs. 8 oz....still small and petite, but she's come a loooong way! ALL preemies have!
I hope your little preemie is doing well! Is she still in the NICU? I hope she comes home soon! She's in my thoughts and prayers.

We can't see the picture because your profile is set to private. But I will say if she weighed 3lb 12oz at 26 weeks your odds are very good. We had a daughter born at 29 weeks weighing 3lb 3oz who is now three years old and has very minimal issues with cerebral palsy. She's very smart, very active, and very healthy. She is beautiful. And for a preemie she looks good. I had always expected to see some preemie looking bad but your baby looks beautiful. God Bless her.

its set to private but sound like she is doing very well with wieght gain. what about her breathing and other issues.
