Very possible. I experienced the same thing earlier in my pregnancy. I was certain that it was something other than a yeast infection because I did not have the usual discharge. I saw my doctor about it and she confirmed by lab tests that it was a YI. See your doc and make sure you have it taken care of.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMDwx
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

It could very easily be the beginnings of a yeast infection and the discharge hasn't started yet. Check with your doctor about a possible treatment for this as treatment for pregnant women is often different than those who aren't pregnant.

It could be an allergic reaction. Have you changed soap or started using a cleansing wipe? Just a suggestion. It could be the meds. Without the discharge could rule out yeast infection.

It is possible to have a yeast infection without discharge.
Typical yeast infection symptoms for a vaginal infection are:
* intense vaginal itching - the MAIN symptom
* vaginal burning and irritation
* pain during urination
* pain during sexual intercourse
* abnormal vaginal discharge
Discharge color can vary from thick white or light-gray. Consistancy is often described as similar to 'cottage-cheese' although often it may be watery.
