I had one done in Dec of 06, they had to check my kidneys and bladder for Endometriosis. They put me to sleep and I didn't feel anything until I woke up, because of my Endo I get really bad cramps. But they knew this and had pain meds on stand by so when I woke up they were able to give me something. Other than the cramps I didn't have any problems.

Good Luck.

infection, stone, blood in the urine along with colicky pains are the most recognized signs and symtoms of urinary problems . you have alredy seen the specialist who is giving you the proper advice--endocscopy to be followed by other necessary investigations to control the infection and get rid of the stone . go ahead and have it done , . even though it may be painful--you'll be relieved of the misery soon. cheer up , it's something that can be cured!
