I have found that making things for myself is a wonderful way to heal correctly. I moved from the south to the north and my skin became a disaster. A friend gave me a lotion bar. It was wonderful. It cured those places by my elbows that looked awful. I have made a couple of batches and love what it does. I have been giving these bars away. I would like to learn how to make other things too. Can anyone share recipes with me? I would love to learn how to make any things like this. I would like to learn recipes for acid reflux, for detergent that doesn't make you itch, soap, anything. I am allergic to soap and have always just scrubbed and rinsed very fast. Now I have hope. Thanks so much.

I have something for you on acid reflux.
Get an aloe vera plant, cut a leaf, then cut this leaf from side to side so that it opens like a book. You'll then find the pulp, a green jelly thing. Use this to make a drink with water and a bit of brown sugar if you want. Honey is always better and healthier than sugar itself.
Use about half a leaf for 1 1/2 to 2 liters of water. Drink this during the day and the next day repeat the procedure. You shall go on for at least two to four weeks. Actually what this does is to create a protective layer inside your stomach and low down the acid. The amount of time (2 to 4 weeks) gives time for your organism to regulate it self and get rid of the causing microorganism.
