OK, this is the real deal. No BS, and also I am not bragging, just looking for advice for yes no etc.
My wife is going on a 10 day private yacht 150ft with 5 girlfriends and she leaves tonight at 9PM, Valentines Day. When she returns, she is going to the Justin Timberlake concert 6th row with 3 girl friends, and then she is off to China for 2 weeks with her school program. Should I run out today and get her something for Valentines Day, if so, what? (The yacht trip is s friend's, the concert is comped, and China has already been paid for)

You definitely should, because it would make her feel special. Sure, going on all these fun trips will make her feel good, but you letting her know you love her even though she is going to be gone will make her feel AWESOME! Don't hesitate to buy her something, even if it isn't as big as a trip to China.

Wow dude, you've got a lot to live up to. Did you have anything to do with those awesome trips? If so, just get her a nice card with a personal note from you (something about not falling in love with your rich yacht-sporting friend, or some chinese person) and tell her to enjoy her trips and consider them a Valentine's gift!

My, my! Very impressive! (and here I thought my hubby had really went over the top with the Couples Spa Package he presented me with this morning!)

I'd buy her a single rose - make it a silk one - and put it in her suitcase along with a mushy love note.

Be sure to behave during your temporary singleness while she's away!
