I am of the view that there is nothing wrong in the airline employee discharging his duty honestly. Even the President, Queen, PM must be made to undergo security checks in the interest of other passengers. We have heard of instances where people in power misuse the same and act against the interest of humanity. I am sure Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam would not have taken it seriously. it is only the media that is exaggerating it. No. My blood is not boiling. What is wrong in following a rule? I don't know what is being done in other countries like USA, UK, Russia, China-- whether every person including higher ups are put to security test or not. It is advisable to follow. This is probably avoided to save the embarrassment for the higher ups before the lower level officials. Imagine the highest authority goes for hair cutting/hair dressing. Therein he has to bow his head and listen to/act according to directions of the hair dresser. I am not able to see any deviation or variation in this incident. Opinions differ.
