Yahoo, CBS Sportsline, Sports IIlustrated (SI.com), MLB.com SportingNews.com are some of the more popular ones. They all have paid leagues and free league I believe. Yahoo will have free leagues public and private...registration has been moved back a day though, it will be this Friday, Feb. 16th. I prefer Yahoo. over all the rest. MLB.com also has a free leagues and will being running drafts pretty early compared to most sites but I wouldn't suggest it. They have been promoting much smaller rosters; I don't know why they consider that a good thing. They don't draft individual pitchers only full pitching staffs like you'd draft a defense in football. I think that is the worst part about it. If it is your first time I'd try a few different ones just to see which format you prefer for future seasons.

Here is a review of different fantasy baseball sites. http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-3000_7-6475797.html
To be quite honest, though there are a lot of free options out there: Choose Yahoo. I've tried a few of the other ones and they've been clunky, slow, and hard to use. Also, you clearly have a yahoo account already- which is all you need to log in and join a league (or more). The season hasn't started yet, but in like a month fantasysports.yahoo.com will allow you to log in and join (or start) a team.

I have played in many different fantasy leagues. I like the way Yahoo works there the most. But CBS Sportsline is also pretty good. Both have free leagues.

Yahoo has a great fantasy set up. I play here every year. You can either draft your own team or run an auto draft where you rank players and the Yahoo computers pick your team for you. There are then 2 different ways to play, either head-to-head (the one I play) or rottissery (never played that way).
ESPN has a free one. I think MSN has a free one too.

You can join at Yahoo! Sports, Sporting News, ESPN, or CBS Sportsline. They all have good fantasy sports. CBS Sportsline is not very user friendly though. Yahoo is the easiest to use.
