Question about Humidifiers? Which brand is best for money?

I'm going to buy a humidifier for my son's room, does anyone recommend a brand? There are so many types and I don't want to get one that is cheap and doesn't do anything but I don't want to spend a ton on money on one that is as good as a cheaper one! Help! Has anyone bought one from a drugstore? Target? Walmart? These are all place close by that I would be going to. Thanks in advance!

According to Consumer Reports, the best ones for the money are those made by Honeywell. They run about $40. It is the brand I had when my boys were children and it was quiet and worked very well. You should be able to find it in most drug stores, walmart, kmart, etc.
