I know of at least one person I would kill......

That's the premise of the book "Lullaby" by Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club). The main character has to deal with the freedom/guilt of killing people at will and sometimes accidentally.

It's a funny concept, but I think most of us would react exactly like the main character. It's only natural to seek to gain authority. That would be ultimate authority. What kind of person would have that kind of restraint? How much control do you have over your thoughts and ambitions? We kill roaches or mosquitos without thinking twice if you had that power where would you draw the line?

If nobody knew who was causing people's deaths I think we all would kill somebody if we had the chance. It's only natural.

Yes I would.
I am a horrible person I know.
I would start by killing all the child rapists and mass murderers in prison so that I didn't have to pay taxes for them.
Then I would probably kill a random rich person and steal their money. As long as they looked horrible and didn't give money to anyone but themselves.
I know it is horrible but that is me and that is what I would do.

There are alot of *ahem* people I would enjoy killing. But I have to say no. Because sometimes I think to myself, "Wow I really wish that person would die." But I dont literally mean it. And then they would die and I'd feel guilty my entire life. Would be a nice power in some situations though.

I would love to be able to answer this question "no," but I think in reality, I would have done it at least once in a moment of anger. And if I had not witnessed the consequences, I might have done it again. And again. It'd be witnessing a death I caused, or the pain of their loved ones, that would convince me to never do it again. I'm one of those people who has to screw up before I truly learn, even if intellectually I know something.

Only in extreme self-defense. Now if I could give them an upset stomach and make them dash to the nearest bathroom, that would be a power to have.

Yeah, cause I'd kill myself. I'd hate to get angry at another driver or something and kill them. I'd have to become a bubble boy or something in order to avoid having people aggravate me.

No. That is too far. Sometimes you think that it would be nice, but then again, you couldn't take it back. And you would be killing people that others loved. You would be playing God, and that isn't right.

I'd never thought about this before-but now you've put the idea into my mind I've already got a list a yard long.
