Not all of them are jerks, Dearest, just some of them. Until they're in their mid 30's *most* of them are walking gonads and need to be treated as such (treated kindly, fed, petted and sent to bed.) Just don't expect rocket science out of them.
Other Men are marvelously intuitive creatures, but these are difficult to find because they're overshadowed by their far more silly brethren. I would actually ask you to keep looking for the elusive "homo intelligentsia" as they're witty, sensitive kind and strong. They know how to fix a car and how to keep up their end of a conversation.

I think i'm a jerk when i'm trying to flirt, because I feel really uncomfortable, so I think it's a nervous reaction. You really can't hate me for it, that's like me saying I hate woman, because they are Crank Yankers when they get PMS. Granted, i'm gay, and this is the GLBT section, and i don't even flirt with woman.... but the next time I do, i'll be a little more nicer to try and persuade you that Guys aren't jerks, we just don't understand as well. .... yea, that's my answer then.

i've gone out with real macho jerks who think there gods gift and some guys are but then again there's girls who are like that too. people need just to be good to each other.

we're not all jerks.. just the popular ones. they tend to be arrogant and take women for granted.. find a guy who is shy, sweet, sensitive, and not afraid to express his emotional side.. he'll appreciate your attention more than the tough jocks will..
