how do you get a ring off???

my ring is REALLY stuck onto my finger! I can turn it but thats about it! how do I get it off?

lotion, baby oil or soap and water if none of them work then you might have to have it cut off

If all the other suggestions don't work, please be aware that it is quite common in hospital emergency rooms for some older person (usually) to come in with a ring that won't come off because the finger is much bigger than it was when the ring was put on. Often, the finger has poor circulation and is becoming a medical emergency. So they use something like a chain cutter to cut it off to save the finger.

Try the usual, if it works then all is good. If your fingers are stolen then you may need to get your fingers in some cold water and get the swelling down. If all else fails and it is important to get it off then I have cut a ring off my daughters finger with a pair of scissors, I guess I could have used pliers too. She took it to a jewelers repair shop to have it mended and resized. Good luck.

try sope and water. thats what my boyfriend had to do when he got my ring stuck on his finger one time. worked for him.

soap. olive oil. is your finger swelling at all?? put it in ice water. (close all drains around where you are trying to take it off though!) or vasaline!

run your finger under warm water n carefully slide it off. that usually works for me. =)
