Going to a concert the end of this month at the Allstate Arena. Need to get a hotel and any suggestions if hotel is not in walking distance - how is parking around there?

There's a Travelodge at Higgins and Manheim that is quite close (walking distance if you're willing to walk a ways). ANY of the chain motels by O'Hare (in Elk Grove Village, Schiller Park, or Rosemont) would be a short drive away. Parking is easily available at Allstate Arena, but you will pay event prices. You could try parking at the shopping center next door, but you could well be towed. If you want a cheaper parking option, drive to the CTA park-and-ride in Rosemont (River Road and the Kennedy Expressway), and catch a Pace bus to the arena.

There are tons of hotels around Allstate Arena. It's located in the Rosemont area. Here's a link to the Rosemont chamber of commerce site with a list of hotels near the Arena

All nice and withing walking distance of the Allstate Arena:
Wyndham
6810 Mannheim Road, Rosemont
Radisson
1450 E. Touhy Ave (at Mannheim), Des Plaines
The Wyndham is actually adjacent to the parking lot at Allstate Arena, the Radisson is a short walk past a some fast food places and a Target.

The best I found for the price is the super 8. It's about 5 miles away from the arena. I've attached a link for you to check out. It runs about $59 on travelocity. Now for closeness, I would go with the Comfort Inn. It's 0.2 miles from the arena, but it's $90 a night. I'm lazy. I prefer to pay more and stay closer. Here's a link for both of them. If you are willing to drive west about 5 miles..there is a giant shopping center Woodfield..30 great restaurants all prices. And a La Quinta where you get free breakfast and free parking for about $65.00 nite. The same hotel on Oakton in Elk Grove is $95.00. Rosemont area is pretty congested.

we stayed at the crowne plaza hotel i believe in rosemont and it was really nice i dont know how much it was .....there was a lot of hotels around there ..i am sure you can find one .
