Shouldn't your significant other treat you nice ALL year, not necessarily buy things but being considerate and appreciative of what we do or us for what they do for that matter???????? =))

Of course! My husband and I have decided that we will save the money associated with this holiday and not do anything. We have been married for almost eleven years and it's just a money racketeer.

Your opinion is a good one. However I feel Valentines Day is a holiday where even the shy do not have to feel awkward about telling someone that they love them. I look at it as just another way to tell my family and friends that I love and appreciate them. People should treat each other with respect all year round. Yes. But sadly some do not. There are a lot of days that are stated as Holidays and just shouldn't be. Valentines Day, in my opinion, isn't one of them.

ABSOLUTELY!! I don't care for Valentines day, the money making machine, but I do care for my husband and we both like to do things for each other and spend quality time together regularly. Feb 14 is just another day for me.
