a lot of who you are comes from your parents and family. you inherit things from them. some of who you are comes from you environment and your life experiences. there's a big debate about "nature vs. nurture". if you don't like something about yourself, you can work to change it. the following link explains some of why you are who you are.

Mostly my dark childhood and past made me the person who I am today... I know and I realize that my past and my childhood were not perfect at all. But I just try to learn the positive sides from it and take all good lessons from it to change to be the better version of myself and not to get sucked in the same hole....
